Default miniGo_Fast

2007 MCS - has 59k miles, stock but oh so fun. I've had it for 5 weeks.

Want:
Some low
17x8 or 8.5, square, with non-run flats: 205/40/17 or 215/40/17 (has 205/50/16 rf's now from previous owner)
Suspension upgrades (moderate)
Lighting upgrades (headlights, fogs, tails)
Chrome - to be deleted

Here are the ubiquitous crappy cell phone pics:

So high and so dirty. The mini, not me.

Low-ness to correct the monster truck-ness on the way...

Specs:
17x8 et30
215x40 Yokohama S.drives

Don't know how much you are planning on lowering. Looks like you are gonna need a lot of camber to have any chance of making those 215s fit.

For reference, same exact tires 17x8 et33 with -2 camber:

Rev, I used those exact pics of your mini for reference before purchasing knowing that I am not going that low.

Cool. Even if you don't go that low, I'd be surprised if you don't encounter some pretty serious rubbing. Excited to see how it comes out though.

Thanks.

If I rub too much I'll go to coils and dial it in.

I was on those same spec BLQs on my R53 with 205 tires (not much stretch at all) but that little bit was enough for pretty good low

NEW:
NM RS Alpha Springs
H-Sport 25.5mm Competition Hollow Rear Sway Bar (set to middle position)
Koni Yellows (set 1 click up from soft)
H-Sport Rear Camber Links
Black Grill Surrounds
Black Scuttles
LED Tails

Previous gap was 65mm front and 67mm rear from the top of the tire to the edge of the arches. I now have 37mm front and rear gap. I am more than pleased with the result based on my needs and driving style. For reference: 17x8 +30 215x40 Yokohama S-drives
These are interim wheels and tires until I can find a set of 18"s to restore.

I also blacked out the grill surrounds, added black scuttles, and led tail lights. Red tail lights on a green body just looked too much like a rolling xmas tree to me. The jury is still out on the tails. I like the way they perform, however I will have to tint them a tad to tone down how they look when they aren't lit.

Huge shout-out to Danny at MiniCorsa. He installed the suspension components for me in 2 hours on Friday for a fantastic price. I live in Manhattan Beach so it is a little bit of a haul to get up to North Hollywood by 9am but it was worth it. That dude kick ass and has a great head of hair.
He also gave me a free t-shirt.

Even though I have a mini-specific shop less than three miles from me, I wouldn't hesitate a second to drive to No Ho to have Danny take care of my car. Thanks to this forum for the solid recommendation of Danny at MiniCorsa.

Maybe it's because I'm on my iPad, but I can't see the images. But I'm happy to hear Danny did right by you.
