Default Group Buy - "No Holes" License Plate Bracket

Group Buy - "No Holes" License Plate Bracket

http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=111179

Quote:
Many California MINI drivers are flaunting the law requiring a front license plate because they don't want to drill holes in their front bumpers.

A product now exists which allows mounting the front plate without drilling the front bumper.

The GoMiniGo "No Holes" License Plate Bracket utilizes a custom machined bolt that screws into the tow hook hole. All parts are made from either Aluminum (main bolt) or Stainless Steel (everything else) to ensure no rust. The mounting hardware utilizes nylock nuts which will not loosen from vibration. The plate attachment screws are button head socket cap screws for a nice clean look.

Pictured in the attachements below (left to right):

* CAD drawing of assembly
* Bracket (without height adjustment brackets) mounted in tow hook hole
* Plate mounted in lowest position
* Plate mounted in highest position

This product is normally priced at $50 plus $5.95 for shipping. The Group Buy price will be $45 for 1 - 10 buyers or $40 for more than 10. You can pick up your bracket at A MINI Vacation in Vegas from March 24 - 26 or from me in San Francisco after this event. Those buyers who opt for San Francisco pick up will also share shipping costs.

Please post below or PM or email me if your interested in this potential group buy.

Thanks for looking

4 more anf they are $40. I think a guy from amanda's work is going to buy one also, she just called me about it and he wants me to pick it up for him. So that actually makes it 3 more and I doubt there will be any issue with 3 more getting on board between now and AMVIV

I wont keep it on, but I already got a ticket for no plate that I have to take care of. I dont like a plate on th efront of the MCS and I have never really been a fan of the off centered plates either, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

when the euro plate comes, i'll HAVE to drill holes... but I'll buy a set of bumper plugs so I can be like the porsches

It's just holding the flimsy license plate. It doesn't need to be billet.

I have been away from the forum for a few days since the Mini was hit by a Mini Van... so I have an Aero Kit coming my way and dont want to drill the bumper so I am hoping I can get in on this, I just messaged the guy organizing it!
