Default FIAT must really be hurting

A friend of mine wanted a fun car she could drive around, so last night we were checking out the FIAT 500 convertible. She went to the dealer and loved the car it was a fully loaded at $26K and some change. Both Edmunds and TrueCar gave $500 off MSRP she ended up getting the car for $22K out the door......

That can happen when your dealerships are selling zero cars per month...

I don't think that they are hurting, I just think that the market is dominated by MINI and everyone is playing catch up. I think if FIAT came over at the same time or a little bit before they would be doing a lot better. I do need to go check out an Arbath though.

I really really really wanted to like the 500, It just doesn't have that fun to drive feeling. I'm still in love with the mazda2

Handling in the reg 500 is sub par. I test drove one and it was driving a small car with a big floaty suspension kinda like a Caddy.

on the Fiat front, the Hendrick Dealership empire here in Charleston now will sell Fiats (along with BMW,MINI, Chevrolet, Jeep and a few others I'm sure)
