asking about numbers on a race car is sorta pointless. He's tuned it for maximum area under the curve because his max hp is dictated by the regulations.

congrats Jan. No arguing with real world results.

Oh yeah good call, I was just curious as to what a cayman could put out. I know APR has a street tune that claims 335hp if my memory serves me right.

Either way congrats

Either way congrats
If the car is classed in GTS I would bet it's whp is damn near the stated 320bhp number. Possibly even a touch lower if they force the cayman to use the 2.9L motor for homologation in the class.

I would however put money on the fact that max tq happens a shit load sooner than the oem motor. Most likely max tq by 1800-2100.

For a race car like this that's where the gains are. Being able to pull the gears around the track and make the driver comfortable with driveability is what makes a fast car in this class.

Jan are you gonna be up at MRLS with this team? If so can you hook up some passes or access?

the car was a big hit and Jack drove the original Camaro Hot Wheels car back in the day. So it was cool seeing him behind the wheel again. I can't divulge numbers but it's a 3.4L DFI cayman with headers and larger throttle body and piping...........

stock bottom end.........most of this was done on the Grand Am Caymans that I tuned for 2yrs. The car fits perfectly in this World Challenge. Its going to win more races
This was the FIRST Cayman to ever win a professional race so history was made yesterday
