Can I come over to play at your house?

Man, that's an awesome collection, I had a lot of those when I was younger but got stupid and thought I'd outgrown them at one point in my life and gave them away to friends and younger family members. What I wouldn't give to have those back now.

Yeah a lot of mine were given away too. And my GI Joes. Oh, if anyone's interested in GI Joes, buy now before the movie hits. Junk skyrockets when the nostalgia kicks in.

That is a cool set. I gave most of my originals to my son, he is very jealous of your collection.

Battle Beasts. or in Japan Beast Formers. In Japan some actually had Autobot and Decepticon affiliations.

5 Original DinoBots
Grimlock - T-rex
Slag - Triceratops
Snarl - Stegasaurus
Sludge - Brontosaurus
Swoop - Pterydactyl

On the Bumblebees/Cliffjumpers, there was some screwups with the color casting. There are Red BumbleBees, and yellow Cliffjumpers as well as correct ones. There's also a BumbleJumper figure that's a bizarre combination of the 2 molds but I dont' have one cause they're way too expensive.

The reason the Cliffjumpers had Bumblebees head was cause the toys were out in Japan long before the TV show was created. Most of the original toys were from other toy lines Takara owned or bought the molds of in Japan. The show and the toy line of Transformers was created in America by Kenner. They probably gave the animators the wrong mold to make the character off of. There are a lot of little screwups like that. The comics are even worse cause they were done before the show started. One thing to note, the comics have Ironhide and Ratchet that look like the ungodly molds the toys came as vs. the cool robots that were in the show.

And that's todays lesson on G1 Transformers. Any more questions?

I do actually. You can see a glimpse of a carded Prince Lotor figure on the wall in the corner of this pic. I have a complete carded and loose set of the action figures, a handful of the vehicles, all 3 versions of the Die Cast Voltron and a giant 24"+ Plastic Voltron. He can battle Fort Max. I took pics but haven't processed those yet.
