it took like 5 min to remove the wiper... needless to say, i was elated.

Mine's done now. No pics yet though. Looks super smooth though. Couple things, the instructions say a 12 mm socket and it was a 13mm and the bolts on the motor were 10mm. That's on my 2005 so I don't know if there's a difference at all.

I think my '04 was also a 13mm, not sure but it definitely wasn't a 12mm.

that would make sense 13mm is used all over the mini...never heard of needing a 12mm

Funny, I do the exact same thing. I hate that half clean half dirty look. I really have to not be able to see out before I'll cut them on. And I will very very rarely use the sprayers too. Yuck.

My sprayers suck, they're always clogged and shooting all over the place, if they even shoot at all.

I want a uni-wiper up front.
