Default Portable iPod Speaker Setups

So what are you running? I probably won't get anything new for a while but I'm curious what some of you guys use for portable iPod speakers. I have an Altec Lansing that works well but has very little bass response. Looks like this, and I had that iPod when I got it haha.

I was looking for a setup for mine. But I also want a built in alarm clock that I can read without my glasses on. Which means it need to be 1.75-2in tall numbers. yes I am blind

It looks like I am going to try to build my own setup that bodges everything into on box and one electrical outlet used.

Yeah... That's way too involved for me. Though I have a CD player alarm clock with number that big so I don't have the need like you do. Keep the Fantasia soundtrack in there so we don't grow to hate music we actually like. Don't hate the Fantasia but it's a good way to wake up. The flow of the music lets you know when your'e running late hahaha

We have the Bose Portable and absolutely love it! It is kinda pricey, but the sound quality for something so small is amazing. I still think it is worth the money.

I've been using this for a few years now, it's great since it also is a radio, best part is I can use it at the drive in also instead of having to use the car radio. That way I don't have to turn the car on every now and then..

This one sounds good for the price. I liked it because of the rechargeable batteries. could save a lot in the long run. There are some that sound better for more $ and are less portable. depends what your looking for.

This thing kicks ass, was reviewed to be better than the Bose, and was $50 cheaper. I cannot recommend this enough
