That could be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. The recreation of the Antikythera mechanism is amazing all in itself.

I don't use ebay a lot, but don't they have any safeguards in place for buying counterfeit shit listed as legit?

I'm the same - just about never use eBay. But, I believe they do have ways to dispute purchases/transactions. Might be hard with the watch though, probably have to prove the seller misrepresented the item to gain the refund from eBay.

I looked into the issue and I would have to have a professional get involved to prove the watch is infact a fake lol. ontop of that the seller was from the phillipines and is likely long gone. I can however leave bad feedback oddly I bought the watch cause he had lots of perfect feedback... makes me wonder if its all fake feedback

After making my previous hobby into my job (photography/video) I decided that watches might be good hobby for me... I started collecting some entry-level stuff:

Shortly after I bought the Mini and all I've done since is spend money on that... but that empty spot in my watchcase is starting to itch!

Yeah, I like it too... it might be as 'wrong' as it gets, Fliegers should be German or Swiss and they didn't even have PVD-coating back then, but I like how it looks.
