Default Depeche Mode vs. New Order

This is sort of a two part poll that comes from a conversation that Hollis, Cameron (not on the board) and myself had while in the car. The second part will be posted sometime in the near future.

It's really straight forward, just pick which band you prefer to listen to on your iPod, CD player, record player, Walkman or other personal listening device.

I just had DM on my iPod...early stuff. I decided it's lost it's luster some 25 years on whereas New Order still sounds good. That said, I still love me some Personal Jesus so DM wins

Love them both, but if I had to choose, Depeche Mode.

New Order ... THE HACIENDA for the ****in' WIN!!!

That being said though, one of the best concerts I have ever been to was the final Music for the Masses show @ Rose Bowl, back in like '88 or '89. Same show they filmed the 101 film @ . My sister and I had 3rd row seats. It was FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!!!! Lsitening to the entire stadium sing the chorus of "Everything Counts" was bitchen. As was the 100k person food fight.

EDIT: if none of you New Order fans have seen "24hour Party People", rent that $hit ASAP. It's a film about Factory Records, and all the artists that were involved with them. New Order being one of the more notable. Very enjoyable film. Plus it has the hilarious Steve Coogan, can't beat that.

80's music is actually the only music that I never purposely listen to. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

I have some DM on my computer, but rarely listen to it.
